We are seeking a detail-oriented Secretary/Bookkeeper to join our team at a solo medical/surgical practice. The role is essential in providing administrative support and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology and proficiency in various electronic health records. The individual is responsible for patient scheduling and front desk operations, handling medical billing, coding including CPT and ICD-10 coding. Insurance verification and authorizations will be required. Assisting in the preparation of patient care, sterilization of equipment as well as managing multi-line phone systems.
