Waterjet Cutting Machine Operator FedTech Inc., a manufacturing job shop, has an immediate opening for a Waterjet Cutting Machine Operator. Accurately and efficiently performs cutting jobs by understanding the part drawing, or job instructions, cutting the parts and performing inspections. independently executes all setups and has a complete understanding of the machine control and can perform basic programming. . Prior work experience with forklift operation and knowledge of manufacturing materials is a plus. Lifting of 50+ lbs and pre-employment drug screen required. Responsibilities • Make parts that conform to the drawing specifications by performing setups, operating and adjusting. • Read and understand blue prints. • Meets or exceeds job time standards as much as possible • Troubleshoots problems with the machine control and part programs • Measure parts and have attention to detail • Completely and accurately fill out job paperwork and inspection reports. • Keep work area clean and organized • Have the ability to multitask and help other team members • Loading and unloading material onto the machines, verify materials meet required specifications and make equipment adjustments as necessary. • Support the company's strategic plan by adhering to quality management.
