We are looking for a handyman or skilled DIY worker in the Birmingham and surrounding areas to handle some work on foreclosed homes. This individual should be a quick learner and/or have a team to complete some of the following types of work: Rekey (changing locks) Winterization (removing all water from the home) Trashouts (removing all trash from the home) Minor Repairs (drywall, paint, cabinets, doors, toilets, etc) Snow Removal Lawn Mowing Cleanings Having your own equipment and a trailer/truck would be a plus. Dependable transportation is a must. This will be pretty consistent work over the next couple of years within a 10-25 mile radius and STARTS NOW. Pay will be per job and paid within 1-3 days. You’ll be part of a hands-on team responsible for all aspects of daily café operations, including food preparation, cashier duties, and vending machine maintenance. Each snack bar features a hot box for breakfast and lunch sandwiches and prepares one daily lunch special. We also manage approximately seven vending machines in each building where the snack bars are located. We’re looking for team members who take pride in their work, enjoy interacting with customers, and bring a positive, can-do attitude each day.
