Experience and Background: Two years of electrical maintenance experience. Experience working in remote arctic environment preferred. North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card – preferred, not required. Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check and computer-based testing. Be at least 18 years of age. Ability to lift & carry 65 pounds on regular basis, routine walking, standing, bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services. Rotational schedule of at least 11.50 hours per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required. The mechanic will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.
