The Floral suite has it's own bathroom, large main room and another big side room that could be used as a bedroom, office, or studio. It has great windows and natural light throughout the day, hardwood floors, and lots of Victorian details. We can furnish it or not, depending on what you need. We’re looking for someone who’s intentionally into community living and wants to help co-create the culture of the house: shared projects, occasional gatherings, and a generally thoughtful, inspired vibe. That said, the house is big enough that everyone can have space when they need it. Plenty of common areas where you can be alone without retreating to your room. There’s a huge porch, fruit trees in the garden, a cozy little hot tub, and it’s walkable to both downtown GV and Condon Park. Inside, there’s a mix of traditional and uncommon common spaces: a library, séance room, secret record-listening den, vivarium, ballroom, a dining room with a fireplace and the very well stocked kitchen has a huge antique gas cook stove and a cozy wood stove for the winter. We also have a house cleaner for the common areas. There are still parts of the house that are in progress and the repairs and maintenance on a historic building are always ongoing. So if you're the type who appreciates beauty with a little patina and charm, you'll fit right in!
