Tree Care Foreman (Moore County, NC)
Dave's Tree Service is looking for a skilled, motivated individual to join our team as a Tree Care Crew Foreman. In this role, you'll play an important part in maintaining and improving the health and appearance of trees on our client's properties. If you are passionate about arboriculture and ready to grow your career, this is a great opportunity for you!
This is a full-time, year-round position service in Moore County, NC with a Monday-Friday schedule. Weekends are usually free, offering a healthy work-life balance.
We are currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus and provide educational opportunities like TCIA-sponsored events and online training.
After a 90-day probationary period, you'll be eligible for benefits, including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, plus 7 paid holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a tree crew, keeping safety and productivity a top priority
• Oversee and take part in tasks such as pruning, tree removal, climbing, and tree care in rural, residential, and municipal areas
• Communicate regularly with sales and office staff
• Foster a team-oriented environment with a strong focus on excellent customer service
• Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and in proper working order
• Train and mentor less experienced crew members and equipment operators
• Perform tree rigging from the ground and in the canopy using proper rope techniques
• Operate various tree care equipment including aerial lifts, mini skid steers and grapple trucks
Requirements:
• Skilled in tree cutting and climbing, with knowledge of natural and directional pruning methods
• Physically fit and able to handle strenuous tasks in all weather conditions.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a focus on safe work practices
• Must have a valid driver's license

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
