SPARTAN TRANSPORTATION LLC is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for local and regional flatbed work based out of the Austin and San Antonio area. Job Details & Requirements: What We Offer: • Pay: Approximately $900 - $1500 per week to the driver. • Home Time: Most of the time you come home daily. Driver may have to stay out a night or two occasionally. • Work Week: Must be willing to work 6 days a week, including weekends. • Locations: Truck yards are located in San Antonio and Kyle, TX. • Equipment: Manual transmission units. (Drivers do not take trucks home). Older and newer model units • Route: Loads deliver throughout Texas. Job Duties: • Operating a Class A tractor-trailer for flatbed deliveries. • Strapping and/or chaining loads is required (No tarp loads). • Must also be able to perform dry van drop and hook work as well Minimum Driver Qualifications: • Must have a Valid Class A CDL license. • Minimum 3 years of driving experience operating a tractor-trailer. • Minimum 3 years of experience doing flatbed work. • Driving Record: • NO accidents in the last 5 years. • No major traffic violations in the past 3 years. • No SAP drivers are allowed. • Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen, road test, and background check. Maintenance positions involve significant direct contact with residents of Agency owned communities. This position will work onsite with our Permanent Supportive Housing department and mainly serve our Bridges on Broadway property, although they may be asked to perform duties at The Commons on MLK or The Keystone as well. The Commons on MLK is a partnership between Lane County, Homes for Good, ShelterCare and Quantum Residential focused on providing permanent housing to 51 chronically homeless individuals who are part of the Frequent User System Engagement (FUSE) program for high service users. The Keystone is a 15-unit permanent supportive housing project for chronically homeless families with children. This project was funded through special PSH funds from OHCS and OHA with services provided by ShelterCare and property management by Quantum Residential. Bridges on Broadway is a partnership with Lane County and Oregon Housing and Community Services focused on providing permanent housing to 56 chronically homeless individuals referred through Coordinated Entry. This project is under construction and will open in 2025. The Commons on MLK and Bridges on Broadway are staffed 24 hours a day with services staff on-site from 8am-6pm. DUTIES: Perform routine maintenance work in vacant and occupied units. Perform routine custodial and grounds work using handheld tools and equipment. Learn the proper use and care of tools and equipment. Perform minor skilled plumbing repairs including replacement of washers, unplugging toilets, sinks, snaking drain lines, repair of leaking sink drains and supplies, repairs to existing irrigation and or leaking water lines. Perform minor 110v electrical, which may include lights, plugs, switches and heaters. Perform painting and soft tile laying. Check and lubricate vent fans, motors, cleans furnace filters and registers. Complete minor carpentry repairs to include replacement of fence boards and posts, locksets, miscellaneous hardware, and repairs to siding and window screens. Landscaping including; mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, raking of leaves and removal of debris, application of appropriate chemicals for fertilization, weed and insect control. Perform general laborer and custodial duties to include the cleaning of buildings and grounds; removal of weeds, leaves, cleaning of gutters and drains; washing windows, digging trenches.
