Opening the Future to Security at Both Land and Sea REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 2-3 years experience or combination of education and experience, fabricating and welding metal products using steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum. Ability to follow and be certified to welding procedures. Typical daily work operations include bending, flattening, welding, cutting, shearing, straightening, grinding, sanding, routering, fitting, inspecting, and assembling steel, stainless and/or aluminum products that conform to specifications and/or tolerances. Proficiency at reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints. Good math skills. Ability to work within and meet deadlines. Ability to work well with others in teamwork capacity. Accuracy and attention to details are two important considerations for our positions. As producers of custom chocolate products, we have a plant full of various types of machines that you will be trained to maintain. You bring a strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude along with experience in the role that demonstrates your ability to troubleshoot and get us back online. The position is predominantly Monday to Friday day shift but may require occasional weekend or overtime during our peak winter months of production. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment Repair all production equipment as needed Perform breakdown analysis Perform general housekeeping Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed Production tasks as needed BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older Pass the drug test; Pass the background check Experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting repair and installation.
