Experience with steering and suspension systems is desirable. •Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, power tools, pneumatic wrenches, and jacks. •Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and equipment lubrication. •Keep detailed documentation of all service and repairs performed. •Other duties as assigned. Experienced, well-established excavation contractor seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman for residential home excavation in the Portland Metro area. Become a new member of a great team! The applicant should be an experienced operator that is well versed in residential house dig outs, basements, grading and utilities. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter. We are looking for an operator who can perform lay out, read elevations and survey markers, install all underground utilities including complete storm systems, rain drains, sewer lines, power and communication conduits, excavate foundations, and perform all types of grading.
