Warehouse Supervisor Honolulu, HI Full Time Experienced Title: Warehouse Supervisor Location: 3017 Ualena Street Honolulu, Hawaii 96819 Pay Rate: $48,000 - $50,000 per year exempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the work of staff to ensure alignment with organizational requirements. Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Daily Operations: Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including offloading, loading, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Specifically loading and unloading of lift vans from the teams as they depart and return from their assignments. Oversee the unloading and transfer loading of containers, as well as the whole operation. Performance Monitoring: Implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse performance. Quality Control: Ensure all operations comply with quality standards and customer requirements. Address and resolve quality issues promptly. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Utilize and manage WMS to track inventory, optimize workflow, and ensure accuracy in order processing. Customer and Shipper Complaints: Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints. Logistics Management: Coordinate inbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of household goods. Manage relationships with freight carriers and resolve logistical issues. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure PPE are used as needed. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Promote safe work activities by attending safety meetings and collaborating with staff. Warehouse Operations: Perform tasks related to receiving, storing, distributing, and delivering products. Assemble, address, stamp, pack, unpack, and arrange transportation of products. Load, unload, move, or store items according to documentation and instructions. Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on pick and pack operations and freight management is required. Problem Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of making quick and effective decisions under pressure is required. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of warehouse operations and freight management is required. Leadership and Development: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong organizational and communication skills is required. Equipment Operation: Ability to operate a forklift is required. The ability to move other heavy equipment as needed is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting and Carrying: Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Standing and Walking: Prolonged standing and walking throughout the warehouse. Bending and Stooping: Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling. Climbing: Occasionally climb ladders or stairs. Pushing and Pulling: Regularly push and pull carts or equipment. Manual Dexterity: Use hands for handling objects and operating equipment. Visual Acuity: Good vision for reading labels and inspecting products. Physical Endurance: Maintain stamina for long hours and busy periods. Environmental Conditions: Work in varying temperatures, loud noises, and dusty environments.
