Core duties and responsibilities Floors: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all types of floors. Surfaces: Dust and polish furniture, countertops, and other surfaces. Restrooms and Kitchens: Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all surfaces, fixtures, and appliances. Waste removal: Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners. Windows and mirrors: Clean interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Supply management: Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other restroom and kitchen supplies. Specialized tasks: Perform additional cleaning as needed, such as carpet shampooing or floor waxing. Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor. Skills and qualifications Physicality: Must have the physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform other manual tasks for extended periods. Attention to detail: A meticulous approach is crucial for ensuring thorough cleanliness. Time management: Ability to organize and complete tasks efficiently within a given schedule. We are currently looking for a Head of Facilities to join our team! The Head of Facilities performs minor repairs and ensures adherence to DOH regulations. Responsibilities include checking equipment functionality daily, supervision of adherence to DOH standards, and assisting with facility projects, repairs, painting, and general maintenance. They report to the Director of Culinary Operations and to the General Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of facilities including painting and repairs. Be able to fix minor things such as small leaks, change electrical outlets and breakers. Daily checks and walkthroughs to ensure all equipment is running properly and facilities are in accordance with DOH, DOB and FDNY regulations. Supply lists of materials needed. Need to be able to promptly respond to restaurant needs and answer messages promptly. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in facilities or a similar maintenance-related role; experience in high-traffic environments is a plus (e.g., restaurants, hotels, commercial properties). A strong sense of urgency in responding to maintenance needs and ensuring smooth operations. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Attention to detail in performing routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs. High standards for cleanliness and safety in all areas of the facility, including workspaces, service areas, and public spaces. Flexibility in schedule, including the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a facilities team, ensuring the ongoing success of the operation. You could literally start this job today. We are looking for primarily a CDL commercial driver that can deliver our equipment, which consists mostly of Bobcat skid steers and mini excavators. This is not a regular 9-to-5 job because we are the only rental agency that we know of that's open 24 hours a day seven days a week. If you don't have the CDL license, please don't apply for this job because we very specifically need a person with that type of license. That's the only position we have open right now. One of the benefits of this job is a great deal of flexibility as to scheduling your work hours. You pretty much can set your own work hours for the most part but there would be some days where you might be working at 10, 11 or 12 at night other times during the regular daytime hours, but many times we have to deliver in the evening to avoid heavy traffic especially going when going from Tacoma to Seattle. We currently don't offer any type of benefits, medical packages, retirement, or health. We anticipate paying between $20 and $25 an hour for this position. If your circumstance requires that you would need to be paid in cash, we can also do that for you or we can have you on scheduled payroll. if you're undergoing some difficult financial times and need to be paid even daily, we can also help you with that as well. We are a rental agency that rents not only compact heavy equipment, but we also rent out pick up trucks and noncommercial dump trucks so occasionally you would be delivering vehicles as well. We also need to be able to count on you to help us with minor repairs whenever directed by our mechanical staff or to run errands and fetch parts when necessary. Also, when needed you may be asked to clean vehicles, or pressure wash heavy equipment and also grease the equipment with our grease guns. We're trying to think of everything that would be part of the job description so that there's no misunderstandings. We are located in the Parkland area by Pacific Avenue and Highway 512.
