Responsibilities: Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu. Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required. Work together with the line team to prepare cold and hot subs to customer specifications, while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements. Use specific kitchen machinery such as knives, grills, slicers, etc. Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing and wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms. Communicate effectively with team members and management to create work schedules, train new employees, and resolve any interpersonal issues as needed. Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to Jersey Mike's standards and policy. Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing required uniform and adhering to a corporate dress code. I am looking to hire someone to come help me in my yard and greenhouse for 3-4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. I want someone who LOVES plants. This is not a hard labor type job. I want someone who loves plants and will be meticulous in helping me care for, maintain, fertilize and beautify my plants. I have a landscaper that does the mowing and edging so I do not need help with that. I honestly just want someone who loves creating beautiful outdoor spaces. I am flexible with the hours but would ideally prefer mornings. I will require a background check (which I am happy to pay for) since this person will be working in my home environment.

We are looking for a catering staff member to serve lunch at various government offices in the greater DC area. Weekdays only 8:45am-3pm. At all events you will be serving inside a client location, primarily commercial and government buildings in the DMV. Weekly hours vary, but average is about 18-30 hrs per week. Driver's license with clean driving record. If you have ability to driver a trailer you will get access to more shifts. IMPORTANT: Non-smoking, non-vaping, and drug-free environment. ***** ALL locations require you to show a Real ID driver's license or state ID. Most locations require US citizenship.
