Technos, Inc., a trusted leader in the manufacture and repair of rotating equipment and related components for heavy industry (such as cement, power, paper, pulp, sand, sugar, oil & gas to name a few) is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with a min. of two years experience on lathes, milling machines, and boring machines. Located in Schertz, halfway between beautiful, warm San Antonio and charming, historic New Braunfels, just off Interstate 35. Candidate must own the minimum required tools (list presented at interview). Ability to operate manual lathes, mills, bandsaws, and drill presses. Read and interpret dwgs. Perform layouts. Willing to work occasional OT and weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday). Scheduled hours are M-F 6am - 2:30pm. CNC experience is helpful, but Manual Machining is required. Salary is negotiable based on experience, skillset, and attitude. We offer 15 gallon/week gas card after 60 days. Medical/Dental/Vision/Life after 90 days. 401k and Vacation after one year. Seven Paid Holidays. We pay weekly via direct deposit; payday is Wednesday. Solid family business celebrating 45 years of superior emergency repair services to our clients.
