Salary: $75,000 to $78,000 Schedule: 7am to 3pm Are you a skilled Machinist looking to move closer to the energy and opportunities of New York City? What You’ll Do: Operate various machines to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional milling and lathe work Maintain and use measuring devices for accurate sizing Review and repair defective machine parts using proper tools Apply various metalizing techniques as needed Follow established repair procedures and plans What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on experience in machining, milling, and lathe operations Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience with metal spraying techniques a plus Ability to follow repair procedures accurately Prior experience using Micrometers, Bench Grinders, Excellent Benefits Package! We restore, repair, and maintain 35mm and 120mm film cameras for analog photographers around the world. Pursue self-guided skill development when primary tasks are complete. Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and move equipment across stairs within the workspace. Experience Hands-on camera technician work, preferably with analog systems. Personal or professional photography experience and an understanding of how technical issues affect final images.
