Looking for experienced old guys or retired techs that want to work on classic cars! You have to know how to tune a carburetor and timing. We dont want a rusty back yard mechanic. Most of these vehicles need electrical repairs. Must be somewhat current from the field. We do general maint and full restos on classic cars and trucks. No worries, we wont make you pound in ball joints or pull engines out. Must be familiar on older vehicles. Pre fuel injection! You will love this place. Plant People Northwest is a small, sustainable landscaping company. Our service area includes North Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, and Magnolia. We seek an experienced gardener/ horticulture grad to join our year-round crew. We’re accepting applications for part time (minimum 3 days/week) and full time. Our schedule is from 8-4, Monday through Friday (no weekends). This is a year-round position. Your daily work will include weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, fertilizing and more. Basic Qualifications: • Work history showing 1+ years of professional gardening experience with a Western WA, horticulture-focused company, OR a hort degree/ certification (or both!) • A working knowledge of plant and weed ID, horticulture and pruning practices. • Enthusiasm, energy, and stamina. • A cooperative, helpful, positive personality. • Adaptability with challenges, setbacks, and changes of direction. • An intuitive knowledge of how to work briskly and "look busy". • A self-directed desire to learn and grow! • Have a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites, and a smartphone for accessing our calendar and other tools. Pay and Benefits: Starting pay is $22-24 DOE. If you have ample experience/credentials and leadership qualities, we will move you into crew leadership as quickly as possible, which would come with an additional raise. Our crew lead in training make $26 and our crew leads start at $27.
