APPLY HERE: https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.php/jobs/ViewJobDetails?job=155378&clientkey=E4AA2B16AAD02069DD51B880E7895334 We are known for our excellent delivery service and are looking for a dispatcher to continue to uphold our stellar reputation in this area.  Our dispatchers ensure the timely and efficient utilization of company equipment safely and according to company standards and policies.  The dispatcher acts as an agent for Lane Forest Products and ensure that the company’s interests are represented in all decisions pertaining to the delivery, blower, drop box, or semi-truck services.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Dispatch Duties: *Work quickly and accurately in a fast-pace office environment. *Promote safe operations of our trucks and equipment. *Clearly communicate necessary information to all interested parties *Must be always accessible while on duty to answer questions from drivers, customers, sales staff in a timely fashion.  *Interact with sales staff to ensure that all necessary delivery information is present and understood prior to dispatching orders. *Operate and use office phone system, company cell phones and radios. *Communicate with customers to verify delivery time. *Problem solving throughout the day *Understand the operation of commercial vehicles. *Possess knowledge of the local geography and proper truck routes. *Communicating predicted changes in scheduled delivery times/expectations with customers, sales staff, and delivery staff.  *Possess thorough knowledge of all of our products and services. *Keep accurate records and process all ticket and order entries.  *Proficient in point of sale systems, as well as Microsoft Office. *Other duties as assigned Semi Coordinator Duties *Number one priority after safety; Maximize every haul. Make sure there is a front haul and back haul to every move. *Review all DDR on Thursday/Friday to maximize loads for next week. *Review Lane Semi DDR daily and schedule trucks accordingly. *Send out DDR and Grind schedules. *Work with Wholesales to maximize profits and loads. *Work with Transportation Management about personal and equipment availability. *Create reoccurring PO’s *Review Bunkers and call appropriately  *Daily driver coordination QUALIFICATIONS *Prior dispatch experience *Associate College Degree preferred but not required *Able to calculate square footage accurately total invoices and tickets *Able to problem solve and react appropriately while under various conditions *Proficient in point of sale and Microsoft Office BENEFITS (for full time regular employees include): *Competitive base wage *Health, Vision, Dental and Supplemental Insurance *Health Reimbursement Account *Purchasing discounts on all our products *Paid time Off  *Holiday Pay *401K and Roth IRA company match after one year *Employee Assistance and Wellness Programs *Challenging opportunities, training and growth potential Lane Forest Products is an equal opportunity employer.
