Water Restoration Lead Technician – Full-Time About Us: Leader Restoration is a well-established and growing restoration company serving the South Bay Area. We specialize in water damage, fire cleanup, mold remediation, and moisture control. We’re currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Water Restoration Lead Technician to join our team and help make a difference for customers in need. Job Summary As a Lead Technician, you'll play a key role in restoring homes and businesses impacted by water, mold, and other types of property damage. This position involves working in a variety of environments—including crawlspaces and attics—to install moisture barriers, insulation, and perform other restoration tasks. We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with physical labor in tight or low-clearance spaces. Key Responsibilities Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.) Lead onsite work in attics and crawlspaces, including vapor barrier and insulation installations Assist with mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and odor control Operate power tools and restoration equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and vehicles Communicate with clients and document job progress Assist with containment setup and negative air systems Requirements Available Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional emergency after-hours work) Physically able to work in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics Experience in water restoration is a plus Comfortable using power tools and equipment English-speaking preferred Driver’s license preferred Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude Compensation & Benefits Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid Time Off Overtime opportunities Ongoing training and advancement paths Location: South Bay Area (San Jose and surrounding cities) To Apply: Submit your resume or reach out directly if you’re ready to be part of a growing, professional team focused on high-quality service and restoration excellence.
