Seeking part time bartender/ server (oakland piedmont / montclair)

Mago is currently seeking a part time bartender to join our small team. Founded by Chef Mark Liberman, Mago is a hospitality first environment, creating a safe and fun work environment for all, while never sacrificing on the quality of the product served. We are a fine dining restaurant offering a contemporary expression of Colombian cuisine, utilizing the delicious ingredients of Northern California through a daily changing tasting menu. We offer craft cocktails utilizing seasonal ingredients and a big focus on Latin american spirits. The ideal candidates are eager to learn and grow with our team. Our team is very small and we are looking for someone that can really embrace being a part of our team. Must be a charismatic person who is comfortable speaking with guests, running food to tables and working in an open floor-plan. The right candidate should be self motivated, a go-getter and able to step in wherever is needed as we are a small team that relies on quick action. Our award-winning establishment has received recognition from SF Chronicle, Michelin and more. We are looking for a part-time bartender/server to join our passionate and hospitality-driven team. QUALIFICATIONS Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience Excellent communication skills Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor Passionate about food and cocktails RESPONSIBILITIES Run drinks to guests when needed Ensure wells have items and materials needed to operate efficiently Wash and polish glassware Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile Establish/anticipate needs Bus dishes and glassware Wipe tables and keep areas clean Make cocktails for guests and tickets Close down bar Removal of trash BENEFITS Medical Benefits Dining Discounts Free Daily Meal Friendly Work Environment QUALIFICATIONS: Ability work in an ever changing environment, our menu changes daily Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in craft cocktail bar and/or restaurant Current Food Handler Permit. Positive attitude and team mentality COMPENSATION: Competitive pay, 401K and health insurance for full time employees after 60 days. All staff will be receiving tips on top of hourly wages.
