Position Summary: The Entrance Security Attendant is stationed at the company’s main gate to control facility access. This role ensures that only authorized visitors, contractors, and deliveries are permitted entry, creating a safe and secure environment for employees and guests. This is a stationary position with no roving patrol or investigative duties. Key Duties: • Greet and screen all visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at the gate. • Verify reason for entry against visitor lists, appointments, or delivery schedules. • Operate gate mechanisms to allow authorized access. • Maintain a visitor log with names, entry times, and purpose of visit. • Contact staff to confirm visitor appointments when needed. • Report suspicious or unauthorized access attempts to management. Work Conditions: • Position is primarily outdoors and subject to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat. • When not receiving visitors, a shaded or sheltered seating area is available to provide relief from sun exposure. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Prior customer service or access control experience preferred. • Professional, alert, and detail-oriented. • Strong communication skills and a courteous demeanor.
