Available now. We have one private room (not shared) available now. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who works from home or makes their own schedule. And has experience working with seniors. We are a all female household. We are offering a deeply discounted rent in exchange for helping out one day a week, very kind, elderly female (90 years old) one day a week for reduced rent, in her calm peaceful inner city apartment. There is one other female caregiver (age 45) that live in her own room at the front of the apartment, and she cares for granny 6 days a week, and she does all of the meal prep, cleaning etc. Your room would be in the rear of the apartment offering the most privacy. The apartment is generally very quiet with zero drama, and granny (age 90) will always say hello when you walk by :) super sweet. The availability of the room is contingent upon you helping the elderly tenant only one day a week. The main caregiver does all of the meal prep, so on Sunday you only need to walk with her around the block for her excercise and pretty much just keep an eye on her. Granny sleeps about 14 hours per day. We would prefer someone that has cared for an elderly person in the past, due to the nature of the living situation, any experience is useful. Room is 160 sq feet with lots of extra closet space as shown in the pictures. All utilities are included. Only females live in the house but for Granny’s grandson visits two days a week to help the other caregiver with the house tasks. FACILITIES You share the kitchen and bathroom with the other female caregiver who provides care the other six days a week. Granny owner covers things like soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, if anything is know let us know and we will buy more. Kitchen tools like plates and pots are also free to use. CLEANING Housekeeping is done by the main caregiver. You just need to clean up after yourself. PARKING Dedicated parking space available for $100, we have one spot in the secure gate parking area that is not on the street that you can use. Required: You must be available on SUNDAY (or Saturday if the other caregiver is willing to switch), and your availability must be consistent. Terms 1) Deposit is $500.00. 2) Reduced rent for helping senior on Sundays. 3) Parking space $100 4) We will do background check. 5) No drugs and no overnight guests, this is a caregiving home with another female caregiver living onsite.
