Hi! My amazing roommate is moving to ny, and I will have a room available for rent in a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom (split) apartment in the Castro/Dolores Park area starting in November. It’s a huge home (1,300 sq. ft.) on the top floor with a spacious kitchen, a living room you can use as your office space during the day, and a wardrobe room. The Room: The available room is unfurnished and large enough to fit a queen-size bed with closet space. House: - Centrally located – a 5-minute walk to Dolores Park, Castro MUNI Station, SF Fitness, Barry’s, and The Castro Room (yoga studio). Plenty of privacy even outside of your room, as the kitchen, living room, and office are all dedicated rooms with doors that can be closed. - Fully furnished common areas – I’ve lived here for two years, so the living room and kitchen are fully set up with a huge couch and a 65-inch TV. - In-unit washer, dryer, and dishwasher. - Backyard with lemon and mandarin trees (they taste great!). You're welcome to do some gardening if you’re interested. I might try to grow tomatoes this spring. About Me: - Female (🇰🇷 & 🇦🇺), early 30s, working in tech (going into the office 2-3 times a week). - Home is a place to relax and unwind, and I like to keep the shared space cozy and clean. - Outdoorsy hobbies — surfing, hiking, free diving, and dancing (bachata, salsa, and swing). I also love making things — pottery, crocheting, etc. Looking For: - Preferably female, similar age range – late 20s to 30s. - Ideally looking for a long-term roommate. Logistics: - Rent: $1,850 - Available April 1. If move-in is later, rent might increase slightly since I'll have to cover for it. - Security deposit: $1,850 - Utilities: $90-120/month (WiFi, trash, PG&E) - Parking: Permitted street parking. My current roommate and I have never had issues parking close by. - Pets: No pets allowed, unfortunately. - Landlord: The best one I’ve ever had—super responsive and quick to fix or replace anything I requested.
