$1,150 Two Cozy Rooms with clean grad-student roommates near Orange Line (Malden, Oak Grove)

We Have two Furnished Room Available in November, possibly sooner. Our apartment is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a 2-family house in a quiet neighborhood, has a cleaning service, reliable and responsible roommates, 3 bathrooms and is only a short walk from the T. We are looking for 2 new roommates that fit the same category, either grad students or young professionals. The Bathrooms: We have three! The one you would be using is shared with one other person. The Kitchen: The kitchen has all the appliances you will typically need. The Cleaning: We have a cleaning service that comes in 2x per month to take care of common areas: Kitchen, Bathrooms, Living Rooms and Staircases The Public Transport: • The Oak Grove T-Stop is only a 5-6 minute walk away from our house (Orange Line). • Great connection to Boston (14 min to North Station) • Ideal if you need to get to Bunker Hill, Hult University, Northeastern or MGH. • Assembly Square with its outlet stores, cafes, and restaurants is also only 4 stops away The Parking: If you have a car, there is off-street parking for an additional $100 per month. Or if you register your car and insurance at our address, you can also get a street parking sticker from the city. The House: You'll be staying in a somewhat international house with 4 other roommates. Naturally, we are from different places (US and non-US). Currently we are working professionals, one law student and one grad-student. Besides that, we are friendly and green (our energy is 100% renewable, and our landlord keeps an eye out for the best electric rates, which has saved us ~$1,000 last year. Also: We do recycle. The Furniture: • A bookshelf • A dresser • A full size bed/Twin size bed • New quiet window AC and electric heater • Freshly cleaned carpet/Hardwood Floor • A desk and chair are possible • Curtains and blinds to keep the light out. The Groceries: • A major one (Stop and Shop) is only a 10-min walk away. You can also choose to get off at Malden Center to walk there (5 min) and then hop back on the train, but it’s more convenient to just walk. • Some of us shop at Traders Joes at Assembly • Some at Whole Foods on Cambridge Street in Boston. • There is also a Super 88 (Asian grocery store)) close to Stop and Shop. The Neighborhood: Malden’s city center was just rebuilt and opened a couple of years ago with an all-new look, coffee shops and more. There is also a Bank of America and Citizen’s Bank branches, CVS, Walgreen’s, T-Mobile, etc, and hands down a very delicious pizza place (New York Pizza at 421 Main St.). Our street is getting repaved in October 2024, so pardon our appearance! Up the street is Melrose, which is another great little community for food and coffee places.
