The Location: I live in a house in The Outer Sunset on the same block as Safeway and the 7. Both the N Judah and L Taraval are 5 blocks away, the 28 and 29 are nearby as well. Perfect for a SFSU student. Plenty of free curbside parking and a shared driveway. Lots of interesting restaurants, fruit and food markets around the corner. The House: 12’x11’ private room w/ ethernet, wireless internet. New Sonic ISP with 900-1,000 Megabits per Second when connected via ethernet. Washer and dryer in-house. Furnished Full/Double sized bed in room. Both the living room and the dining room can & have been used as workstations for someone on a laptop. It’s a really peaceful part of the Sunset where you can hear the ocean on most nights. You: No indoor cigarette smoke or pets. Looking for a single occupant that is an honest and responsible adult that knows how to communicate like an adult. Roommates: You’ll be renting an upstairs room in a house and only sharing the upstairs (living room, bathroom, kitchen, dining room) with myself, a full time Office Manager.. Downstairs tenant (think separate apartment units where we are in the same house but really live in different apartments) is an insurance professional. Rent is $1000 a month, plus utilities. Utilities are anywhere from $100-$250 per person per month depending on how much energy & water we are using that month. Winter months are more expensive than Summer months. When roommates conserve & turn off the lights after themselves that number is low. When roommates don’t conserve & don’t turn off the lights after themselves then that number is higher for everyone. Security deposit is $1,000 (that can be made in installments. I know it is expensive to move and I can work with people on that) Looking for at least a 6-month commitment and then we can go from month to month.
