Our Home is looking to grow our loyal and driven team and are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team of manufacturing professionals on first shift. Our QA Technician's typical schedule will work Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM. The QA Tech will work closely with the shift supervisor and QA Supervisor to ensure all quality parameters are being met at all times. This position must maintain a consistent quality product by performing QA checks (moisture, breakage, Oxygen, Bag Seal integrity, date code and raw material verification, and other checks as requested by leadership) at the required intervals. Responsibilities Prepare shift reports as directed by the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Perform line inspections and raw material verifications prior to production beginning after a changeover or at the start of production for the week. Validate sanitation effectiveness and complete Post-OP or Pre-OP sanitation inspection report. Constantly inspect product as it is being produced to ensure it meets the benchmark standard and customer expectations and stop production immediately if out of tolerance deviation occurs. Verify all on line inspection sheets and production documents prior to and during production. Sign off on all changeover check sheets as quickly as possible to verify all details are correct or to minimize the amount of product to be put on hold. Place all out of specification products and/or raw materials on hold using an orange QC Hold tag. Conduct and report daily GMP audits and corrective measures on designated shift. Perform a walkthrough with the shift supervisor at least once per week. Assist in maintaining retained production samples for each product produced. As needed, assist with training of new employees and refresher training of existing employees in GMP, HACCP and other certifications as needed. As needed, assist with customer complaints investigations. As needed, assist with sample preparation and shipping. As needed, assist in keeping Process Sheets up to date with production notes and speeds. As needed, assist with required Quality Assurance reports. As needed, conduct taste tests to ensure production run matches previous runs/samples. As needed, assist with R/D tasks and production sample runs/trials and report. Requirements 1 - 2 years working in a production or food manufacturing facility Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.​ Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. As a Mold Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality products by ensuring that molds are properly maintained, created, and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Intermediate-level toolmaker responsible for creating new molds, as well as modifying and repairing current molds. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of molds to ensure optimal performance. Execute intermediate resin procedures, including sanding and drilling molds, as well as fabricating trim tools, templates, and jigs.  Ensure molds are cleaned and stored properly after use to prevent damage Operate machinery to test molds before sending to production. Work closely with Engineering and Quality staff to improve overall efficiency of tools. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
