Job Description The inventory control position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory.  Associates are responsible for tracking and allocating inventory as it comes into the warehouse, handling damaged and defective product appropriately, taking active and preventative measures to prevent errors and discrepancies, research product movement and history within the warehouse and communicate with management with issues and recommendations.  In an effort, to provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in the areas of order fulfillment, quality control and shipping, and other basic warehouse functions. Load cells into test fixtures, set-up and execute electrical cell tests. Measure cells using mass scale, digital multi-meter, and caliper. Perform visual inspections to identify and evaluate potential defects. Identify and escalate failures or unexpected behaviors to the Engineering Team within defined response time. Monitor and maintain testing equipment and calibrate as needed. Participate in troubleshooting and identifying causes with Engineers and Technicians. Accurate documentation of the data. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives towards better efficiency and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow safety guidelines for handling battery components. Requirements Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Comfortable performing manual tasks requiring precision and manual dexterity. Basic understanding of electrical connections and testing software. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving. Follow technical instructions for test procedures precisely and document results accurately. Motivated to new challenges and embrace learning new techniques and refining existing techniques.
