Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A Part-time CDL Truck Drivers • $33 per hour • Part-time • Local, home daily You will drive: • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks • Best-in-class specs designed for comfort • Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all What you will do: • Deliver palletized groceries to local stores • Average 12 to 16 stops per week • Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers Schedule: • 3 to 4 day work week: Friday through Sunday • Dispatch time 1 am Being part-time, this role will not be eligible for benefits but will have access to PTO accruals and some minor benefits offered at Penske. Qualifications Qualifications: • CDL Class A required • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
