THIS POSITION OPERATES PRIMARILY UP AND DOWN THE I-5 CORRIDOR WITH OCCASIONAL TRIPS INTO EASTERN OREGON AND WASHINGTON. MOST LOADS ARE ONE PICK ONE DROP BUT THERE WILL BE SOME MULTI-DROPS. ALL LOADS PAY THE DRIVER A FLAT RATE AND DROPS PAY EXTRA. AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR INCENTIVE PAY. OUR LOCAL HEAVY HAUL DRIVERS EARN $70-80,000 PER YEAR. YOU WILL AVERAGE 11 TO 12 HOUR DAYS, 5 DAYS PER WEEK. YOU MAY BE OUT 1 TO 2 NIGHTS PER WEEK BUT YOU CAN EXPECT TO SPEND MOST NIGHTS AT HOME. WE DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS. YOU WILL HAVE AN ASSIGNED TRUCK AND TRAILER. OUR TRUCKS ARE ALL CAT POWERED WITH 18 SPEED TRANSMISSIONS; WE DO NOT OFFER ANY AUTOMATICS. OUR TRAILERS ARE ALL 53' 4 AXLE CURTAIN VANS AND FLATBED. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH AN ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD AND EXPERIENCE STRAPING STEEL AND LUMBER LOADS. TWIC IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED. SORRY BUT OUR INSURANCE WILL NOT ALLOW PETS OR RIDERS.TRUCKS CAN BE PARKED IN EITHER OUR VANCOUVER OR LONGVIEW YARDS.
