It provides limited roadside assistance at no charge to drivers in need, including: •providing fuel; •changing flat tires; •jump-starting vehicles; •providing lockout assistance; •moving disabled vehicles to the shoulder; •assisting stranded motorists; •providing back up to law enforcement at incident scenes; and •clearing debris from the highway to improve traffic flow and prevent future incidents. Each year, the Safety Patrol assists over 30,000 + motorists
