Amazing and unique opportunity to join a team consisting of THREE CAREGIVERS to provide 1:1 care for a single client in her own personal residence. We already have two Caregivers who provide coverage Sun-Wed. Looking to fill our final position - THURS, FRI, & SAT. Must be available to work all three days. No substitutions - other caregiver days are already set. Days/Hours: Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Responsibility for my mom during her awake hours on these days (approx. 7am to 7pm), with Thurs., Fri., Sat. evenings/nights on-call (on-call evenings consist of keeping a baby monitor on overnight in case she awakes and needs assistance). She very rarely needs overnight assistance, but when needed those hours are paid at an additional hourly rate. Errands and grocery shopping are divided between the caregivers. Live-In Position: This is a LIVE-IN position. A significant portion of the compensation for this job is in the form of tax-free room and board. When wages and tax-free room and board are combined, feels like the equivalent of $80k/year. See attached comparison of $80k/year in pay, less taxes vs. $30k/year, less taxes plus tax-free room and board.
