You’ll champion operational excellence, refine workflows, and deliver world-class content across commercials, branded content, gaming, and interactive experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends production acumen, emerging tech fluency, and a deep love for post.   Our office is located in Los Angeles. While we are a remote-first company, hybrid weekly in-office presence in Los Angeles will be required to set up teams for in-person edits, on set visits, overseeing hardware/software workflows, and participate in edit sessions. Requirements Post Leadership & Oversight: Lead and oversee all aspects of post production across the studio, including staffing, creative direction, technical workflows, timelines, and delivery standards. Creative & Technical Direction: Provide hands-on guidance across editing, motion graphics, color, sound, and VFX to uphold and elevate creative quality. Ensure seamless execution from offline to final delivery. Workflow Optimization: Build scalable workflows across Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Google Workspace, and DAM systems. Implement emerging tools (e.g., remote pipelines, Unreal Engine, real-time workflows) to enhance collaboration and output. Talent & Vendor Management: Manage in-house editors, motion designers, and freelancers. Oversee staffing, onboarding, and vendor relationships. Maintain a trusted network of creatives across disciplines. Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with Production, Creative, and Interactive teams to align on project scope, timelines, and needs. Integrate post seamlessly into every stage of development. Client Communication & Delivery: Serve as a client-facing lead across key projects. Present work-in-progress, manage feedback, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on brand. Innovation & Growth: Stay ahead of post production trends and technologies. Champion new tools and processes to keep the team ahead of the curve. Identify ways to grow the Post department’s offerings and visibility. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years in post production, with at least 3+ years leading teams or departments in fast-paced studio or agency settings. Tool Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), DaVinci Resolve, Avid, and related post-production tools. Familiarity with asset management systems and cloud-based workflows. Post-Production Fluency: Solid understanding of VFX, color grading workflows, audio finishing, and delivery formats. Bonus for experience with Unreal Engine or real-time pipelines. Creative Sensibility: Strong eye for storytelling, rhythm, and branded content aesthetics. Comfortable giving and receiving creative feedback. Leadership: Proven ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing post teams. Leads with empathy, clarity, and a collaborative mindset. Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build trust and lead conversations with clients and creative partners. Location: Based in Los Angeles or willing to relocate. Must be open to hybrid work with occasional in-person attendance.
