With that said, it would be nice if you have the following experience: 7+ years experience managing complex comprehensive, integrated client projects. Preferably in an agency or client-facing environment. Experience with content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress or Sitecore. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how it applies to custom CMS builds. Experience with industry tools such as Teamwork, Smartsheet, Excel or other project management systems that are used to create schedules, budgets, status reports and more. The Assistant Project Manager leads work alongside our Project Operations and Field Management to foster great client relationships, develop our employees, and oversee the safe construction of high quality, profitable, and on schedule projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead by example in adherence to Quality and Safety Programs Communicate productively with clients’ regarding overall project status updates as needed with assistance from PM Comfortable leading Internal, Client and Subcontractor meetings, providing meeting minutes and follow ups as needed Familiarize themselves with all requirements and exhibits of the EPC contracts Maintain internal trackers for quantity and production tracking Assist PM with all necessary finance functions such as: client billings, project forecasting, risk analysis, vendor/subcontractor payments, change management, and self perform analysis. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus 10 years’ construction project experience; or in lieu of degree, 5 years' experience as an Electrical Foreman or General Foreman on large projects, plus 10 years as a Project Manager required. Proven record of successful relationships and marketing skills, preferred. Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods, required. Must have proven experience managing 100k+ man-hour projects. Proven experience with heavy power distribution systems, instrumentation installation, and process control and system integration, required. Thorough applied knowledge of project QA/QC procedures and system turnover. Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in labor, material, and contract management. Competency in earned-value tracking, labor efficiency index, and crew composite factors. Proven ability to complete a detailed take-off and all required estimating for electrical projects.
