About the role As a Production Technician, you will support daily production operations by monitoring chemical processes, preparing solutions, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cleaned according to company standards. In this hands-on role, you will collect samples for quality testing, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to strict safety and cGMP guidelines. This position is ideal for someone with chemical processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and values precision, safety, and teamwork. Responsibilities Fill out relevant portions of batch record, sign off on any tasks completed during shift, including any cleaning or maintenance on relevant forms. Performs day-to-day low-level maintenance on equipment. Follows company SSOPs and cleaning schedule for cleaning of equipment, utensils, and general facility. Monitor chemical processes and test the quality of products. Train in proper Hazardous Waste Disposal techniques as outlined in 6-CCR 1007-3 Part 262. Receive biannual refresher training on Hazardous Waste Handling as outlined in 6-CCR 1007-3 Part 262. Training on facility contingency plan and Emergency protocols. Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Troubleshoot production problems or malfunctioning instruments. Prepare chemical solutions. Work under the supervision of production managers. Adjust processing equipment to improve production efficiency and output. Collect samples from production batches and give to analytics to test for impurities and defects. React, workup, and purify compounds using various chemical techniques. Follow all company personnel hygiene and handwashing requirements. Ensures all production is in accordance with cGMP CFR 110 and 111 guidelines. Conducts sanitation on general facility and processing equipment according to company SSOPs and cleaning schedules. Conducts routine maintenance tasks as needed. Ensures all PPE is being worn properly to ensure individual as well as peer safety. All other tasks as required. Requirements Qualifications / Educational Requirements Must have a high school diploma. Must have a valid driver’s license. Skills / Experience Requirements At least two (2) years of chemical processing experience. Good Manufacturing Process and Good documentation experience are a plus.
