The Welder is responsible for using appropriate welding methods to attach pieces of materials to build or fabricate finished products and/or parts as well as setting up and adjusting specific welding equipment for the type of welding to be performed. The Welder should be able to read and/or listen to instructions, examine prints or plans, and measure and lay out materials.
