Maintain detailed records of all transmissions worked on, documenting assembly processes, parts used, and any issues encountered. In-depth understanding of automatic and manual transmission systems, torque converters, gears, clutches, and hydraulic systems. Thorough knowledge of transmission assembly processes, including aligning and adjusting components to meet specifications. Familiarity with occupational safety standards and environmental regulations applicable to automotive repair and assembly. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment required for transmission assembly and repair. Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision in assembly and identify any defects or malfunctions. Position Summary: The Freight Technician is responsible for coordinating and handling the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely and accurate freight movement. This role supports warehouse and logistics operations by verifying shipment information, inspecting goods, preparing freight documentation, and assisting with loading and unloading shipments in compliance with company and carrier standards. In addition to hands-on freight handling, this role involves maintaining a clean and organized dock area, inspecting materials for damage or discrepancies, and proactively addressing any issues that may delay the shipping or receiving process. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming freight against shipping documentation Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier guidelines Accurately document shipment details including weight, dimensions, and contents Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with transportation providers Update internal systems to track inventory and freight movement Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company procedures Identify damaged or missing items and report discrepancies Assist with inventory cycle counts and audits as needed Maintain a clean and organized freight and dock area. About the role As a Production Technician, you will support daily production operations by monitoring chemical processes, preparing solutions, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cleaned according to company standards. In this hands-on role, you will collect samples for quality testing, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to strict safety and cGMP guidelines. This position is ideal for someone with chemical processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and values precision, safety, and teamwork. Responsibilities Fill out relevant portions of batch record, sign off on any tasks completed during shift, including any cleaning or maintenance on relevant forms. Performs day-to-day low-level maintenance on equipment. Follows company SSOPs and cleaning schedule for cleaning of equipment, utensils, and general facility. Monitor chemical processes and test the quality of products. Train in proper Hazardous Waste Disposal techniques as outlined in 6-CCR 1007-3 Part 262. Receive biannual refresher training on Hazardous Waste Handling as outlined in 6-CCR 1007-3 Part 262.  Training on facility contingency plan and Emergency protocols. Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Troubleshoot production problems or malfunctioning instruments. Prepare chemical solutions. Work under the supervision of production managers. Adjust processing equipment to improve production efficiency and output. Collect samples from production batches and give to analytics to test for impurities and defects. React, workup, and purify compounds using various chemical techniques. Follow all company personnel hygiene and handwashing requirements. Ensures all production is in accordance with cGMP CFR 110 and 111 guidelines. Conducts sanitation on general facility and processing equipment according to company SSOPs and cleaning schedules. Conducts routine maintenance tasks as needed. Ensures all PPE is being worn properly to ensure individual as well as peer safety. All other tasks as required. Requirements Qualifications / Educational Requirements Must have a high school diploma. Must have a valid driver’s license. Skills / Experience Requirements At least two (2) years of chemical processing experience. Good Manufacturing Process and Good documentation experience are a plus. Assembly Line: Working with a team of 3, you will be positioned at a conveyor system to assemble and pack product prepping it for shipment. Each team member is required to rotate each position throughout the shift. Machine Operator: Run and operate 2 rigid setup box machines - 1 machine makes the base and 1 machine makes the cover. All operators are required to meet 90% production (which is to make about 20,000 boxes in the shift) and no more than 3% waste. Quality Check is performed regularly with making slight adjustments to the machinery to produce good quality product. We offer one shift only - - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday with Fridays used for overtime.
