The price is $200. This price is firm and non-negotiable. Please don't ask for a discount or make an offer. For sale is a Porter Cable brand corded electric powered Belt Sander. This is model number 362. Complete technical details are listed below. This sander accepts standard 4" x 24" sanding belts, which are also called 4x24 sanding belts. It has a powerful 10.5-Amp motor, which is contained in a very heavy and sturdy metal housing unit. The device is capable of covering an incredible 1,500 SFPM (Surface Feet Per Minute) of wood! The sander is in excellent functional condition. It operates with no problems. The motor assembly and spindles operates perfectly. The mechanism to move one of the spindle back to secure the belt works perfectly. When attached, the sandpaper belt spins correctly. You can test all of these functions before the purchase as confirmation. Cosmetically, there are some tiny scratches on some surfaces of the external housing. But these cosmetic issues don't harm the tool's functionality, which is robust. Pictures 1 to 20 show the actual belt sander for sale. Please note that the insulation covering from a small section of the electrical cable begin to split, so I covered it with some electrical tape. And the plastic front handle was also beginning to split, so I secured it with some electrical tape. Picture 19 and 12 show these minor issues. You'll get the sander, the original removable dust bag, and three new 4x24 sanding belts to get you started. Additional sanding belts can be purchased cheaply at Home Depot. The original cardboard box is not available. As an added incentive if you purchase this 4x24 belt sander, I'll give you for free a second Porter Cable brand 3x24 belt sander, model number 360. This second belt sander stopped working last year. It looks like part of the internal wiring for the motor assembly has become detached. But I don't have the skills (or the tiny hands) to repair this issue. Perhaps, you can fix it! Or you can use this second belt sander for spare parts for the 4x24 belt sander, as they shares most of the components for the internal motor assembly.
