Job Details: Position: Marine Electrician Location: Bellingham, WA (Zip Code: 98225) Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (3-day weekends!) Job Duties: Read electrical and mechanical diagrams, drawings, or specifications to determine job requirements. Install electrical circuits in accordance to drawings and instructions from supervisor and project manager. Install AC/DC low voltage electrical as well as digital and analog electronic control systems. Test for, locate, and repair electrical malfunctions. Qualifications: Marine electrical experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm $18.00/hour + Benefits Responsibilities: • Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. • Position and align parts in specified relationship with each other in jig, fixture, or another holding device. • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place. • Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel. • Connect component led wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual components leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. • Install finished assemblies or subassemblies. • Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, switches, screws, housings, end blocks and face plates to assemblies. • Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, stamping, etching, coding parts and assemblies. • Adjust or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics. • Perform online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
