Position Summary – Thermal Operations Manager The Manager ofThermal Operations will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operational functions of Vivid’s Thermal Spray operations in Santa Clara— including equipment maintenance, processing, manufacturing, applicable technological innovation, implementation of 6-sigma and lean tools. Key Responsibilities Production, Processing and Manufacturing Oversight • Lead and manage thermal spray production operations to ensure timely delivery, consistent quality, and cost efficiency. • Develop and maintain production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Maintenance and Reliability • Supervise Thermal Spray operations facility and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life. • Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Continuous Improvement & Quality • Work with quality management systems and corrective actions to reduce defects and rework. • Support standardizing processes, documentation, and best practices throughout thermal operations. Qualifications • Strongly prefer leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in technically demanding environments. • Experience and strong abilities to troubleshoot, install and maintain industrial equipment including air Compressors, dust collectors, motors, and a willingness to trouble shoot thermal coating equipment. • Strong understanding of facilities electrical and plumbing installation and maintenance. • Strong technical understanding of surface treatments, paints, or precision finishing processes, or similar processes required. • Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred • Detail-oriented, honest, transparent and resourceful. • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering degree is preferred but not required. Utilize inventory management systems or software to track materials and ensure adequate supply availability. • Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all designated areas within the facility, including floors and common areas. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed • Perform other duties as assigned. Maintenance Technician / Electrical Systems Base Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 + $3,000 sign-on bonus + OT Eligible  We're looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems to join our team at our facility. This is an onsite, full-time role that is a core part of our maintenance team, supporting our manufacturing and production operations. We're a company that produces advanced materials for customers who operate in high-stress environments, from aerospace and defense to medical technology and clean energy. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and Repair: You will diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment. This includes hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; variable speed AC and DC motor drives; programmable logic controllers (PLCs); and combustion systems. Troubleshoot and Inspect: You'll serve as a team member or leader to inspect and troubleshoot electrical and electronic malfunctions. Using instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters, you will test faulty equipment to identify the cause of the issue. Component Replacement: You will replace defective components and wiring, and adjust mechanical parts using both hand tools and soldering irons. Calibration and Maintenance: You'll align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications. You will also maintain detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
