Description

Job description: Electro-mechanical assembly of standard company products and automation products. Essential Duties: This individual will be responsible for building automation products from the ground up. Position is responsible for verifying kits are complete, building wiring and testing. Will mechanically assemble equipment, following schematics electrically wire the equipment and then set-up and certify equipment performs properly. will work with engineering to reline prints to improve design and to make product more manufacturable. Requirements: - 3+ years relevant experience required. - Knowledge of basic hand tools and good electrical practices. - Must be able to read assembly drawings and electrical schematics. - Understand how to read electrical schematics and use manufacturers’ product data sheets. - Understanding and following work instructions and procedures. - Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiar with standard manufacturing processes. - Reliable and quality-minded individual is required. - Strong troubleshooting skills. - Good communication skills both written and spoken English are required. - Work on-site, on time and on a consistent working hours as scheduled. - Must possess the core qualities of reliability, strong work ethic, and responsibility. - Ability to pass a personal background check and/or clearance at time of hire. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship for this position. Physical Requirements: - Ability to work standing up for 50% of time - Ability to lift 30 pounds - Ability to use mechanical hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, crimping tools.) - Ability to use electrical tools (drills, heat gun, label printers) - Must be a team player * Qualified applicants should email their resume (must) and provide their email addresses. Job Summary: As a Mechanical Assembler in the defense industry, you will play a critical role in assembling complex mechanical systems and components that meet rigorous military and aerospace standards.
