Inspection, 1st shift. Candidate should have light inspection experience, 1 + years working in a manufacturing environment. Entry level, willing to learn, is a great combination for this job! The hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. + overtime. Company is not reachable by a public bus. Candidates should have alternative way to get to work 5 days a week. This job requires a strong attention to detail, ability to use measuring tools, like a ruler or a gage, and be comfortable with numbers. This job is to hire, so any candidate looking for steady work is a good match for this job. Company does require wearing PPE for the full shift, a drug test to be compliant with DRUG FREE environment. This drug test includes testing for marijuana. Primary duties include scheduled preventive maintenance, repair and improvement to chronic production equipment performance issues, with the focus on reduction of manufacturing downtime. Duties also include general maintenance and failure-related repair of production equipment, as well as assisting with special projects as necessary. Employee will be available for a regular schedule that provides maintenance coverage through the end of the production workday. Employee assists in the general upkeep and repair of facilities systems as directed by the Maintenance Manager. One-year certificate from college or technical school is desirable; or two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
