Production Technician

Objective The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring inventory is accurately accounted for, properly stored, and handled in a safe and organized manner. This role collaborates closely with the management and production teams to support operational goals while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This is a seasonal position. This is a non-exempt position with a hourly pay range of $25-30/hour. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Production Demonstrate effective communication in a professional and respectful manner. Collaborate with team members to meet company standards and goals. Provide training, direction, and leadership to maintain a successful, safe, and organized work environment. Deliver shift instructions and hold team members accountable for execution and accuracy. Ensure warehouse documentation is completed, accurate, and legible. Plan and direct receiving, labeling, and appropriate storage of inventory. Record and inspect deliveries for compliance with purchase orders. Supervise and operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks). Stage and organize orders for shipping, production, and storage in accordance with FIFO and company/customer standards. Conduct routine, periodic, and annual inventories with accuracy and precision. Food Safety Implement and enforce departmental procedures and food safety protocols. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SQF requirements. Identify and report any food safety concerns to management immediately. Attend all required food safety training. Maintain a clean, organized, and continuously improving warehouse environment. Qualifications 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility. HACCP and SQF training preferred; familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and internal policies required. Inventory control proficiency Data entry experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced production setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Physical / Additional Requirements: Maintain great attendance at all times Ability to work late nights or early mornings as required. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.

Comply with all federal, state and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to occupational safety. • Equipment Operations: Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, following established safety guidelines and protocols. Conduct routing maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions. • Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Collaborate with quality department personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and report any non-conforming materials. Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials if possible. • Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders or shipping documents. Safely transport materials to designated area using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy retrieval and inventory control. • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete all required documentation, such as receiving reports, materials movement logs, and inventory records. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other related metrics as requested. Communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, or delays to the appropriate stakeholders. • Order Fulfillment: Retrieve requested materials from inventory based on work orders or requisitions. Prepare materials for distribution or shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material request in a timely manner and maintain accurate documentation. • SAP knowledge such as inventory management, TO’s, pulls for production and troubleshooting. • Can perform receiving transactions, shipping transactions, consumptions, and reversals. • Ability to utilize Raymond racking system. • SAP knowledge to reprint handling units. • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies. Monitor stock levels, identify low inventory situations, and initiate replenishment processes as necessary. Utilize inventory management systems or software to track materials and ensure adequate supply availability. • Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all designated areas within the facility, including floors and common areas. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed • Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements • 3-5 years of experience as a Materials Handler or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts stand up, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to materials handling. • Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
