We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Production Worker! This role is based in our facility in Preston, Idaho and reports to the Shift Supervisor. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 5am to 3:30 pm and the starting rate is $21.03 per hour. Job Summary We are seeking energetic individuals with a keen eye to detail and a positive demeanor for this role. The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. Principal Responsibilities With training, set-up, operate and troubleshoot all fabricating machines. Set up of molds and the machines for all lines. Lifting and moving large, heavy diameter saws. Identify material problems ensuring that the product can be manufactured within the standard requirements of the Company’s Quality Control program. Accurately set the process parameters. Remove all scrap materials from the manufacturing areas to the designated storage areas, ensuring that material is stored in a logical and orderly fashion. Housekeeping around the area and machines. Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions. Troubleshoot problems that involve multiple-choice options and determine the most appropriate course of action. Support and stay in sync with the efforts of the Joint, Health & Safety Committee (JHSC). Perform a variety of other tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful. After training, should exhibit an understanding of various types and sizes of pipes. Working Conditions Manufacturing plant environment Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. This role blends inventory management, van organization,and after-hours support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You’ll be responsible for keeping our vans, keys, storage, and local inventory in top condition while being available to respond to urgent needs. What you will focus on: Inventory & Storage Operations Pick daily orders  Stock, unbox, and restock supplies. Monitor inventory levels and support Kanban system updates. Organize and optimize storage layout for efficiency. Manage inbound and outbound inventory flow. Assemble kits for operational needs. Key & Access Management Maintain key cabinets and track key usage. Coordinate key copying as needed. Ship keys for courier requests and provide lockout support until Fleet Management & Maintenance Manage parking spots for company vans. Perform daily restocking, cleaning, and orderliness of van interiors. Conduct turnover inspections, including photos, ratings, and compliance submissions. Spot check inventory and complete weekly full van audits Record and report any damage, updating fleet status accordingly. Additional Duties Support laundry processing as required. Provide after-hours operational support for urgent needs. Requirements: Prior experience in inventory, stocking, or operations preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Position Responsibilities • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This may include but it is not limited to production machines, manufacturing tools, assembly lines, or computer-controlled systems. • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment, to ensure proper functionality and prevent breakdowns. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or issues promptly and efficiently. • Production Efficiency: Optimize equipment by adjusting settings, monitoring production rates, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Minimize downtime by anticipating maintenance needs and coordinating with maintenance staff as required. • Training Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training for Production Operator 1 and 2 team members, and as well as other positions as needed. • Leadership: Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate production operators to achieve high performance. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment performance, and any incidents or deviations. Complete production reports, logs, and other required documentation as per standard operating procedures. • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Share knowledge, insights, and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed appropriately. Ensure the team is working in a clean and neat manner as well. • Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies. Safely transport materials to designated area using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy retrieval and inventory control. • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required. • Perform other duties as assigned and work in other areas as see needed. Position Requirements • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of equipment. • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment operation and maintenance. • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. • Good problem-solving to detail and the ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey information clearly. • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment. • Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
