Sign Company is seeking a highly motivated CNC Router Operator, with some set-up experience, to join our team! This is a full-time position. Under supervision, the machine operator will produce machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) Router machine; maintaining quality and safety standards in accordance with established programs, drawings and procedures, documenting job completions and any necessary records, maintain equipment. • Set-up and operate CNC router. • Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and specialized/advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations. • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, calipers and countersinks. • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in the production of ADA compliant signage, including tactile and braille elements, using CNC machining and finishing techniques • Ensure ADA signage meets all relevant accessibility codes and quality standards SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: • Must be able to produce quality parts efficiently • Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic shop math • Must have a basic understanding of the machining process, including, but not limited to tooling, set-ups, editing, speeds, feeds • Must be able to follow instructions and have the ability to work with little supervision • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy • Must be able to lift 50 pounds • Must be eligible to work in the US • Experience operating CNC routers (2+ years preferred)
