This role is based in Janesville, WI, and reports to the Production Manager. Job Summary We are seeking an upbeat individual who will be assisting with coordinating production scheduling with production and shipping to ensure timely and accurate completion of production orders.   Requirements Safety: maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping. Schedule all requested products through workorder generation. Assist in preparing production reports. Coordinates expedited orders that require schedule changes to meet requested ship dates. Assists with analyzing production and shipping availability to determine ship dates. Record production data which may include volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures. Communicates effectively with all departments that could have a potential impact on the production schedule. Ability to collaborate with the Production Management Team and Supervisors. Competence in all Team Coordinator activities and skills. Other duties as delegated. Qualifications & Experience Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-2 years’ experience as Team Lead preferred. Ability to work independently and as a team. Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Tools & Equipment Computer and other office machinery. Material handling equipment: Forklift, Scissor lift, Pallet jack Basic calculations tools Work Environment Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, as well as lifting and lift at least 50 lbs. Regular work in a fluctuating temperature environment (indoor & outdoor). Working on raised surfaces (ladders, machines, work platforms). Exposure to grease, dirt, and industrial chemicals (primers, adhesives, 2-part epoxies, acetone, glycol antifreeze). Minimize downtime by anticipating maintenance needs and coordinating with maintenance staff as required. • Training Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training for Production Operator 1 and 2 team members, and as well as other positions as needed. • Leadership: Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate production operators to achieve high performance. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment performance, and any incidents or deviations. Complete production reports, logs, and other required documentation as per standard operating procedures. • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Share knowledge, insights, and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed appropriately. Ensure the team is working in a clean and neat manner as well. • Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies. Safely transport materials to designated area using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy retrieval and inventory control. • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required. • Perform other duties as assigned and work in other areas as see needed. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of molds to ensure optimal performance. We design, manufacture, and install premium Euro-Style cabinetry and wood millwork products (see pics). This position is the most important step in our process - the highly professional installation of our custom cabinetry and wood millwork. Advanced technology is used whenever possible. This includes self leveling Visi-Lasers, 3D-Printed scribe tools, advanced plinth leveling systems, magnetic kicks, lifting jacks, and so on. You are provided a WiFi/Cell Tablet to access company drawings, job details, punch items, and so on. Qualified techs are often provided a high roof van as a company vehicle. Because of the size of these homes, work is done one room at a time. The products are protective wrapped and delivered right to the room (see pics).
