Location: Carlsbad Position: Maintenance/Facilities Technician Pay: $22-26/hr, Depending on Experience Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm-10:30 pm, OT as required *Please simply respond to this advertisement with your resume *I will then reach out to set up a time to chat Position Overview • Performs typical facilities and maintenance tasks to support the manufacturing floor and the entire facility. • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. • Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required. Requirements Education and Experience: • High school or tech school education and 3 years of manufacturing related experience in a clean room environment. • Managed facilities related projects before. Skills – Technical • Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills: carpentry, basic plumbing, machine repair, painting, and janitorial. • Required to be familiar with and use all hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed and be well versed in the disciplines mentioned above. • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, O.E.M. instructions and specifications. • Must feel comfortable with working in a team environment consisting of outside contractors and work in a fast paced environment. • Required to use considerable judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.
