Maintenance tech needed at metal fabrication manufacturing plant. Needs basic understanding of troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues associated with plant equipment such as press brakes, shears, welding machines and forklifts.

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented machine operator to join our manufacturing facility. Anyone mechanically inclined with any type of machine experince could be a great fit. Depending on experince, pay rate could be higher. 2nd shift 3:30- Midnight, $19.80/hr Responsibilities Will learn to run CNC or saw machines. Will run different machines. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Must be able to wear steel toe shoes/boots Must be able to stand for your entire shift Must be reliable and responsible Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues Must pass a background check and have steel toe shoes.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. + overtime. Company is not reachable by a public bus. Candidates should have alternative way to get to work 5 days a week. This job requires a strong attention to detail, ability to use measuring tools, like a ruler or a gage, and be comfortable with numbers. The Product Equipment Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager, and is guided and mentored by the Production Equipment Senior Technician. Primary duties include scheduled preventive maintenance, repair and improvement to chronic production equipment performance issues, with the focus on reduction of manufacturing downtime. Duties also include general maintenance and failure-related repair of production equipment, as well as assisting with special projects as necessary. Employee will be available for a regular schedule that provides maintenance coverage through the end of the production workday. Employee assists in the general upkeep and repair of facilities systems as directed by the Maintenance Manager. One-year certificate from college or technical school is desirable; or two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
