Sante Specialty Foods has been in business since 2004. We produce candied and seasoned nuts for wholesale and direct to consumer. We are looking to fill the role of Quality Assurance Manager. A successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in food safety with at least 2 in management. Experience working in a GFSI certified facility also strongly preferred. The Quality Assurance Manager will work with senior management to develop and implement food safety and quality policies, monitor and verify food safety and quality activities, and maintain our BRCGS program. Our office hours are 8am-4pm Monday – Thursday. We are closed Fridays, except occasionally during peak season. Due to this modified work schedule, Monday – Thursday is considered full time employment at our company. This is an exempt full-time on-site position. Our facility requires company provided N95 masks inside the facility. Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 depending on qualifications and experience Benefits: Medical and Dental Qualifications • Minimum 5 years working in a food manufacturing facility, with at least 2 years in management. • PCQI certification and knowledge • HACCP certification and knowledge • Good communication skills, both verbal and written • Strong attention to detail • Knowledge of and ability to implement FSMA Food Safety Plan, Environmental Monitoring Program, and Product Quality Program • Ability to investigate nonconformances, conduct root cause analyses, and develop and implement corrective actions • Ability to work collaboratively with existing QA Supervisor and QA Leads and with Production Department • Willingness and ability to comply with company policies • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Teams strongly preferred • Spanish speaker strongly preferred Responsibilities • Manage Quality Assurance Supervisor and Leads • Review and verify daily QA records • Ensure company is in compliance with federal regulations, state regulations, and BRCGS guidelines • Help track metrics and key performance indicators • Investigate nonconformances and implement corrective action • Monitor supervisory team to ensure policies are being followed • Verify policies have been followed and are working • Help validate the food safety and quality program • Develop and implement food safety and quality policies and documentation
