This role will be required to work in-person at our office and storefront in Cranston, RI. We are seeking an Embroidery Professional with hands-on experience operating Tajima and Barudan embroidery machines. Job Summary: An Embroidery Machine Operator will be responsible for using specialized embroidery machines to create intricate designs on garments and fabrics. In this role you will be responsible for setting up, operating and troubleshooting embroidery machines to ensure high-quality embroidered products, This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to interpret design specifications and work orders. This role involves working with various fabrics and materials to ensure the quality and accuracy of the final product. The Embroidery Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the production process. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a keen eye for quality are essential qualities for this position. The embroidery machines are located in the showroom/office of the company. Cleanliness, organization, and professionalism are requirements for working in this customer-facing environment. Reporting: This position will report to the owner of the company Essential Duties and Responsibilities in this role: Operate and maintain Tajima and Barudan multi-head embroidery machines. Load and thread machines, hoop garments, and monitor runs for quality. Read and interpret embroidery files and work orders. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensure timely and accurate production of custom embroidered goods. Inspect finished products for quality and consistency. Ensure the final product meets quality standards by inspecting for any defects or irregularities. Pay attention to detail to avoid damage to the embroidered design. Collaborate with the production team to maintain high-quality standards throughout the process. Coordinate with other team members, including other machine operators and embroiderers, to ensure a seamless workflow. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leads regarding any concerns or improvements in the embroidery process. Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the Embroidery Manager . Time Management: Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and quotas. Prioritize tasks to ensure a smooth and timely production process. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Qualifications: Previous experience operating a Tajima and Barudan multi head embroidery machines required. ** Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to manage multiple jobs and prioritize work in a busy production environment. Basic understanding of machine maintenance and embroidery software. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Good communication and teamwork skills. The position will be performed standing. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. People Supervised: No direct reports Compensation: Negotiable hourly pay based on prior experience. As a full-time employee, you will also receive benefit options. All offers are contingent on a background check and drug screening. Working hours will be Monday thru Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM with a mandatory 30-minute unpaid lunch daily. A performance review of your new role will take place in 3 months with your manager to assess if your performance in this position is progressing satisfactorily.
