We manufacture high quality precision machined parts, assemblies and tooling for the aerospace, defense, automotive, construction and other industries using the latest in advanced computerized mfg. tools & technology. We seek individuals that are highly skilled, quality minded, dependable, positive and motivated to join our growing team. Must be able to pass a drug screen, work weekends (rare)/overtime as the position requires. Summary Review engineering drawings, CAD models, parts lists, bills of material (BOM's) and engineering specifications to compile detailed manufacturing itemized cost estimates. Estimates will support manufacturing operations in the fabrication and/or assembly of complex machined components. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. -Analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQ) to understand requested new or revised machined parts and assemblies. -Reviews customer requirements, specifications, drawings, 3d CAD models or other data indicated in the RFQ for specific information concerning requested lead time for shipment to customers. -Compile and prepare estimates for needed raw material, hardware, labor hours and outside processing. Present prepared estimates to Management for review. -Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment. -Comply with MTM's safety rules and regulations and wear appropriate safety equipment when entering production departments. -Support the Quality Management System to assurance compliance to quality, industrial and government standards and regulations. Education and/or Experience/Skills and Qualifications -Minimum High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); higher education (Technical school or college) a plus. 1-2 years related experience in a machining manufacturing facility. Aerospace background a plus. Excellent spreadsheet (Excel) skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
