Basic Description: The Warehouse Associate works on the front lines of our warehouse operation helping to ship, receive, sort, and move inventory for thousands of unique orders per day. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in receiving shipments off containers, moving merchandise throughout the warehouse, picking goods to be packed, and packing goods for final shipment to the customer. Team members are encouraged to creatively resolve issues and go above and beyond to ensure order accuracy, team safety, and the satisfaction of our customers across the globe. This is a full-time position at our Westlake Village, CA facility. Our regular full-time day shift is 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with seasonal overtime opportunities. Job Responsibilities: Help to ship, receive, sort, move, manage, test, and repack inventory for thousands of unique orders per day. Receive palletized and loose box truck and container shipments. Unload and sort goods. Move merchandise throughout the warehouse as necessary and inventory goods on a quarterly basis. Sort pick tickets, walk aisles, and accurately pick merchandise for shipment. Accurately pack a minimum of 50 unique orders per hour into the correct packaging for shipment. Maintain a clean work area and sweep, re-stock, and clean the warehouse daily. Assist with product testing, repacking, and sorting of defective merchandise. Assist with various other related tasks as assigned by the Floor Supervisor or Warehouse Manager. Requirements Basic Requirements: Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record. Must possess high school level math and reading skills and be able to read and write English. Must be comfortable working on his/her feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis sometimes on raised surfaces. Must be able to comfortably bend, kneel, and reach for items on deep shelves. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down ladders and step stools. Preferred Qualifications: 1 or 2 years of professional industry experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution facility. An appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems. An ability to build professional, constructive, and effective working relationships as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in implementing successful management strategies. An ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals. Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Benefits Pay range: $17.00 per hour. POSITION SUMMARY Working in our production area, this role will be responsible for assembling sub-components, sub-systems and complete products in Infleqtion’s commercial product line.  This role requires good manual dexterity, ability to conduct visual inspections, understanding of mechanical, electrical, and optical engineering equipment, and commitment to follow all safety processes.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.  Independently or under limited supervision perform multi-step assembly processes of optical, vacuum, mechanical, and electrical assemblies following work instructions while referring to drawings and solid models Conduct inspection throughout manufacturing processes to ensure proper build and that quality standards are achieved Perform receiving and in-process inspections of mechanical, electrical and optical components and sub-assemblies using a variety of instruments, including optical and mechanical metrology tools (calipers, drop gauge, optical comparator, touch probe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and optical interferometer); as well as standard electrical and photonic test equipment Perform necessary maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure a clean and safe work area Support production line maintenance, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting Acquires an intermediate level of applicable skills and process & product knowledge through the training matrix Identifies and works with other team members on process improvements Other duties or projects as assigned Requirements Associate degree in technical field required along with two (2) prior experience in optics, laser, or similar field.  May substitute prior experience for educational requirements on a 1:1 basis Comfort and familiarity with standard clean room practices and working in clean rooms Experience handling and cleaning precision optics and silicon wafers for laser applications Comfort and familiarity with handling of delicte components and equipment, including fiber optic components Familiarity with optical surface quality specifications: MIL-PRF-13830B and ISO 10110-7 Experience with optical contacting and/or anodic bonding experience is desired Ability to inspect parts against technical drawings, including those with GD&T tolerancing Good dexterity to assemble small components into sub-assemblies Proficient in MS Office  WE HIGHLY VALUE:  Great verbal and written communication skills to effectively share information with technical and non-technical staff  Strong engagement and collaboration skills with constant drive for success, ownership and pride in your work  Sense of urgency and responsibility and a true passion for attention to detail where it matters  Open communication style and extremely positive attitude which shows through consistent daily habits  Demonstrated problem solving skills and fast learning rate  Capability of working with both a high degree of autonomy (taking high level goal as an input to discover and execute an optimal plan, gathering required resources to achieve the goal) and collaboratively (soliciting and incorporating input from colleagues as necessary)   Note: This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
