Concrete Batch Plant Operator 2-Year Project | Rotating Schedule | Manufacturing & Outdoor Environment We’re hiring Concrete Batch Plant Operators for a long-term, 2-year project. This role is responsible for accurately mixing and delivering concrete using specialized equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient production in a dynamic jobsite environment. Key Responsibilities Batching Operations * Accurately weigh and measure raw materials (aggregates, cement, water, admixtures) * Use a computer-controlled system to produce specific concrete mix designs Equipment Operation * Safely operate and maintain batch plant equipment including mixers, conveyors, silos, and batching systems Quality Control * Monitor raw materials and finished concrete for compliance with quality standards and customer specifications * Conduct regular inspections and testing Maintenance * Perform daily and preventive maintenance on plant equipment (cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs) * Report major mechanical issues to supervisors Work Environment * Operates in both manufacturing plant and outdoor settings * Exposure to extreme temperatures, loud machinery, and moving equipment * Requires use of PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection) * Physical tasks include bending, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, and operating hand controls * Teamwork and collaboration with maintenance, quality control, and drivers is essential Schedule & Pay * Project Duration: 2 years * Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM * Weekly Schedule: - Week 1: 3 days on / 4 days off - Week 2: 4 days on / 3 days off - (Rotates weekly) * Hours Worked: 40–50 hours/week * Pay: $35/hour * Per Diem: $140/day (for days worked) Resume required Must pass background and drug test Equal Opportunity Employer Apply now to start earning fast and secure your spot on this long-term project!
